As your Member of Parliament for Simcoe-Grey, it is my great pleasure to be here today. I congratulate you Howard on your 90th birthday!!

During your life, you have contributed in so many ways. You have dedicated yourself to your family, your business and your community. In all these things you have given your all and it shows!

This lovely building we are in today, the “Station on the Green”, has been built thanks in part, to your generosity!! I understand you have put together a book about your life and history in the community. I am very much looking forward to reading that in its’ entirety.

Your business has served the greater Georgian Bay area for the past 60 years. As you know the needs of the people here, it is no surprise that you have been a great success. You offer friendly and professional service to all who you serve – and your legacy continues through your son Wayne.

With offices in Alliston, Elmvale, Barrie and Collingwood we serve many of the same people! You have supported the Conservative party of Canada and the local riding association - my sincere thank you for that Howard.

You are trusted and respected and after a life of 90 years, you can be very proud of that.

Again, Howard congratulations and I wish you many happy years in the future.
