On March 18th the first passport clinic was held in the council chambers at the Township of Clearview Municipal offices. The Township of Springwater, Knox Building in Elmvale hosted the second passport clinic on March 19th.

An hour before the doors opened there were rows of seats and standing room in the lobby filled with constituents eager to submit their passport applications.

Approximately 350 applicants benefited from the first passport clinics in 2008 sponsored by Hon. Helena Guergis, MP.
